Kolkata: It is known to everyone that most of the Kolkata Football Fanatics are Brazil supporters, except them four supporters from Brazil have come to the City of Joy to support their team in the quarter-final of the FIFA U17 World Cup 2017 against Germany. Among them one is Luis Lopez who is 92 years age. According to him the Yellow Brigade would win the match by 8-0 and it would be the revenge of their loss in World Cup three years back.

"I am here to support my team. I have come all the way from Brazil and I feel we will win 8-0 tonight. This will be perfect revenge for the 7-1 loss in the World Cup three years back," Luis Lopez said before entering the stadium premises.

World Champion Germany is not too far behind as the members from the German Consulate General have also come to support the young Germans at the Salt Lake Stadium.

The fans from all over Kolkata were too seen going to the ground to support both the teams.

A mass crowed dawning the yellow jersey were seen outside the stadium roaring for team Brazil and it is sure that all the seats of the ground would be full during today’s game.

It seemed as if the city has come up with a big "yes" to Brazil prodigy Paulinho's pre-match assertion that the team was feeling at home and expected  the crowd would egg them on.

Germany coach Christian Wuek had earlier said they are not flustered by the feeling of an 'away' team and would rather enjoy the hostility.

The football-crazy city has traditionally supported the Samba boys before splitting loyalties with the advent of a certain Diego Maradona who helped Brazil's arch-rivals Diego Maradona lift the World Cup for the second time.

Demand for tickets has been sky-high since the three-time U-17 World Cup winners were drawn to play Germany here after getting past Honduras 3-0 in the pre-quarters.

Less than an hour before kick-off, with the stands slowly filling up, a huge roar greeted the Brenners and the Alans as they ran onto the greens and soon after started juggling.
