XtraTime Web Desk: There will be no short of glamour for the IPL Opening Ceremony on April 7. A star studded line up of Bollywood celebrities will be performing for the opening ceremony. Bollywood heartthrobs like Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Parineeti Chopra will enthrall the fans with their performance in the 45-minute show at the Wankhede Stadium before the opening game between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

Also performing on the big stage is Mika and South dancing star Prabhudeva.

As was reported earlier the captains of all the eight franchise will not be present for the opening ceremony due to logistical reasons. There will be no international flavour though at the opening ceremony. Two international artistes have made it clear their unavailability due to the change in date of the opening ceremony. The date of the opening ceremony was postponed from April 6 to April 7.

Speaking to xtratime.in, one of the member of IPL Governing Council said, “Like previous years this year also there will be no short of glamour and glitz with a long list of Bollywood celebrity.”

This IPL will see the return of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals after they were suspended for two years by the Lodha committee post the match-fixing fiasco that rocked the cash-rich league.
