Masseur of Argentina team Marcelo D'Andrea assures Argentine fans of the come back of Lionel. He expressed his trust over the silence of Messi. Like all others he also described the announcement of Messi as natural. However, after the sudden sock Messi will renew his decision, this is expected by Marcelo.
Last Sunday it was shocking for Argentina as they lost their second consecutive loss in Copa America cup final. Messi missed his penalty shoot to loss to Chile.
After the completion of the match Messi announced of his retirement from national team. He expressed, “It is a difficult moment to analyse. The first thing that comes into my head that its over.”
However, after such comment there was no further comment by Messi. He also did not notify the camp about his decision.
Marcelo admitted that defeat in Copa final is a big blow to Messi. Still he has his faith on Messi. “I have no doubts that Leo will play at the (2018) World Cup. I have a lot of faith in him and we must leave him alone for now. I trust him in his silence. He loves the national team and he will do everything for his country”, said Marcelo D’Andrea.
However, no reaction has been found from the part of Messi. So the question still remains under cloud whether Messi will really join the squad or not. Besides, comments of Sergio Aguero also retained the cloud over the matter. After the loss in Copa final Aguero said,
“We’re all messed up. But that’s the worst I have seen Leo. He did everything he could to get us here. But Messi probably won’t be the only one to quit the national team. Several us are thinking about not carrying on.”
