Twitterattis on their feet as India are one step away from defending the trophy

Internet Desk: Virat Kohli led India thrashed neighbour Bangladesh by nine wickets at the Edgbaston on Thursday to seal their berth in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 where they will lock horns with arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday. Rohit (123*) and Shikhar Dhawan (46) added 87 runs for the first wicket to give the defending champions a perfect start in the semis against Bangladesh. Later skipper Kohli (96*) joined the party with Rohit Sharma to take his side home with nine wickets and 59 deliveries to spare.

Rohit has played second fiddle to the in-form Dhawan through much of the tournament, but it was the former who shone brightest in Birmingham, earning the man-of-the-match award for his 129-ball knock that anchor what at times looked an effortless chase.
