Ben Stokes posted a picture with his Rising Pune Supergiant team-mate Ashoke Dinda on Tueasday. Image Source: facebook[/caption]Internet Desk: All eyes will be on Ben Stokes as he makes his IPL debut for the Rising Pune Supergiant as they take on Mumbai Indians at Pune. The English all-rounder made the headlines by being the most expensive player at the IPL player auctions this year. Stokes is enjoying his stint in the new franchise, except Dinda.
Recently the English cricketer trolled the Bengal pacer by posting a picture of Dinda with him. In his facebook post, Stokes wrote, “This guy @ashokedinda…strange strange man, he is the reason why headphones were invented”.

Dinda has his own trademark response to Stokes comments.
“He came and sat beside me in the team bus on our way to the practice session and continuously kept chatting with me. It’s all in good humour (laughs).”
The pacer from Bengal will have to play an important role along with Stokes, if the Supergiants want to shrug off the disappointment of a poor run last season.
According to Dinda, “I don’t want to look back. All I want is to bowl well tomorrow if I get a chance. I had a good domestic season. I would look to continue the good form I am going through.”
Always regarded as a lively character in the dressing room, Dinda also shared his friendship with Steve Smith to xtratime.in . Both Dinda and Smith have been playing together for the same franchisee for the last four years. They were part of Sahara Pune Warriros before being picked by Rising Pune Supergiant. The Australian captain was in the headlines recently for all wrong reason, as he was engulfed in a controversy with Indian captain Virat Kohli. Dinda, though looks forward to playing under Smith.
“He is a nice guy. I haven’t got an opportunity to talk to him personally. We have been playing together since the last 4 years from the days of Pune Warriors. We know each other well,” said Dinda about Smith.
Supergiant will be missing the services of the World’s No. 1 bowler Ravichandran Ashwin, who is ruled out due to an injury. On being asked about Ashwin’s absence, Dinda commented, “Definitely, he (Ashwin) is such a great bowler. His absence will be a huge blow for the team. But we need to pull up our socks and perform well.”
The Rising Pune Supergiant had a disappointing run in the last edition of IPL, finishing at the penultimate position in the points table. They will be hoping for a turn of fortunes this season under Steve Smith.
