Messi to return after retirement against Suarez; Neymar to shoulder responsibility

Internet Desk: The Conmebol zone FIFA World Cup Qualifier is all set to reach its most anticipated match yet, as Lionel Messi who comes from a dramatic retirement and Luis Suarez, his Barcelona team mate to face off for the top spot in the South American standings.






The fierce rivalry of Argentina and Uruguay had long been the stuff of football pundits. Fans even have given a nickname for this battle, "Clasico del Rio de la Plata". And with La Liga's two biggest stars clashing on the same field Thursday, the classic matchup may etch another mark in history of the rivalry.






Messi returns!





The Argentines have seen a series of events which are not anything less than a Hollywood thriller. The former Head Coach Gerardo Martino had resigned from the team, as Edgardo Bauza took the charge. Bauza took the job on August 1, and will be debuting against Uruguay tonight as Argentina Manager.




For the Argentinian fans, however, the biggest news is Leo Messi's change of mindset. The five times FIFA Ballon D'Or awardee chose to return after having a meeting with Bauza.




Though Messi sustained a hamstring injury against Athletic Bilbao during their Week 2 La Liga matchup. Bauza said they will take care of their prized star, who had a training session for the Uruguay clash on Tuesday. The team also be missing Sergio Aguero and Javier Pastore owing to injuries.


Neymar to shoulder responsibilities again!


After having a remarkable success in the Rio Olympics 2016, Neymar Jr is all set to shoulder the national team when they will lock horns with Ecuador tonight. Neymar led the side by an example as Brazil won their first Olympics Gold medal a couple of weeks back.


The challenge will be different though as he will have a different set of players to lead in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The match is immense significant for the Samba boys, as a win can boost their step forward to achieve the ultimate target.


Meanwhile, superstars like Wayne Rooney, Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, all will be in action for their respective national teams
