CAB President Sourav Ganguly with a school kid in an anti-drug campaign. XtraTime[/caption]Kolkata: Today, Kolkata Police took an initiative for a campaign against drugs. CAB President Sourav Ganguly, Football icon Baichung Bhutia, POlice Commissioner Rajeev Kumar and Dr, Sashi Panja were present in the event.
The campaign began with a cycle rally where students from various schools of Kolkata participated in that rally.

Sourav Ganguly was quoted as saying, "It's the youth generation who has come forward for this 'say no to drugs" campaign. This dangerous habit has been spread amongst the teenagers specially. This does not mean that people above twenty are not practising drug habit. I have heard it's being said that people who have money they follow this habit. Its not about money even poorest of people go through this in remote villages. Somehow, we need to join hand in hand to stop this."
Football icon Baichung Bhutia almost echoed what Dada said. "I have seen students and young generation find this drug culture as a 'cool' habit. This is ridiculous. I mean if we really want to try out something cool, relish the achievements what Dada (Sourav Ganguly) achieved for the country and enjoy the goals scored by Sunil Chhetri."
