XtraTime Web Desk: Delhi Daredevil’s young wicket keeper batsman Rishabh Pant sets the Indian Premier League on fire by hitting a quick century at the Feroz Shah Kotla today. It was his maiden IPL ton as well. The Delhi boy proved all the critics wrong as he destroyed IPL’s one of the best bowling unit to score his maiden IPL century. It was third century by any batsman in this edition of the cash rich league.

Pant’s ton (128*) is the highest score of this season, before him Kings XI Punjab’s star opener Chris Gayle scored his sixth ton against SRH as well and the third centurion in this year’s list as he scored his century against Rajasthan Royals. In his unbeaten knock of 128 runs Pant hit 15 boundaries and 7 humongous sixes in his 63 balls knock with a strike rate of 203.17. In this process the 20-year old sensation became the youngest batsman to reach 1000 runs mark in IPL.

Earlier Harshal Patel was run out which can be seen as Rishabh Pant’s fault as after calling Harshal for a run he sent back him which resulted in a run out. But Pant didn’t let his team down after that as he hammered Bhuvneshwar Kumar and other SRH bowlers across all parts of the ground.
