Jagrick Dey, Bhubaneshwar: Fifteen years! There has been a long wait of fifteen years, as East Bengal has been eagerly waiting to win an I-League title. If they win against Bengaluru FC in the Super Cup final on Friday, the wounds would certainly heal to a large extent.  Though there has been some serious positives for Kingfisher East Bengal ahead of the big final in the Super Cup 2018 against ISL side Bengaluru FC, as the Red and Gold brigade are likely to get the service of injured Nigerian forward Dudu Omagbemi against the Blues.

"Maybe Dudu will be fine for the final," Jamil said about the availability of East Bengal's top scorer for the season.

"It is a final match. We must think positive and play well," the Kolkata outfit's coach told reporters ahead of the tie at the Kalinga Stadium on Friday.

Khalid acknowledged that East Bengal are a better side since Technical Director Subhash Bhowmick has been roped in after the I-League. The East Bengal boss is not at all bothered about the injury worries of the Blues, as he said, "Bengaluru defenders' injuries is not advantage for us. They have good bench strength". The Blues are uncertain about getting the services of Juanan and Rahul Bheke's in the final.

"I know BFC  have good players,  good coach. One of the best teams in the country. But we have to keep focus and play well. Last year's Fed Cup final is past. I am thinking about tomorrow's game. I want to give my best tomorrow (Friday)," the Edeuardo explained.

"It is the final match of the season. Bengaluru FC is a great team, no doubt. We cannot afford to make mistakes. The preparations are there. Subhash Bhowmick is helping us a lot in all the departments," said Jamil.
Sunil Chhetri and Miku have scored hat-tricks in Bengaluru FC's quarter-final and semi-final clashes respectively, and the duo have amassed a total number of 37 goals amongst themselves for the club this season.

It is to see whether East Bengal can end the long awaited drought of winning a national level tournament or not. The performances in the tournament have already raised the bar of the expectation.
