XtraTime Web Desk: Terrorist group ISIS puts Red Alert for the football fans, who are planning to turn up for the biggest footballing extravaganza, the FIFA World Cup in Russia in June-July. ISIS has sent a grim threat to Russia and the West ahead of the star-studded tournament, suggesting that they want to attack one of the biggest global events in our calendar. - the terror-monitoring website - tweeted: “#RUSSIA." “Pro-#IslamicState Media Circulating Post Threatening #2018FIFAWorldCup. #TerrorMonitor” Their most devastating attack was carried out in Paris on November 13 2015, with 130 deaths. During a France v Germany match, three explosions were heard in the Stade de France stadium. Then-President Francois Hollande had to be evacuated from the stadium. Meanwhile ISIS has also struck in Britain in recent years: most notably with the London Bridge terror attacks last year, when a jihadi tore through the famous Borough Market. The World Cup in Russia is set to be a controversial affair, with the Kremlin at the centre of fractious diplomatic relations. Boris Johnson has already called for Britain to pull out - at least at a representative level - of the World Cup over the UK’s fury with Russia. He compared the “emetic” prospect of Vladimir Putin “glorying” in hosting the tournament with Hitler’s delight at welcoming the world to the 1936 Munich Olympics. Last month, Mr Putin denied poisoning double agent Sergei Skripal in Salisbury, England. But Theresa May - and the international community - condemned Moscow for its blatant interference in another country’s affairs. This was the first nerve agent attack on European soil since the Second World War - and Britain led a diplomatic push against Russia that saw 130 spies expelled around the globe.
