Kolkata:
Defending champion I-League club Minerva Punjab FC owner, Ranjit Bajaj, fumed in anger against Kingfisher East Bengal, as he claimed that the Kolkata gaints have no right to announce that they have signed Deepak Devrani, Sukhdev Singh, Gagandeep Bali and Kassim Aidara.

In an interaction with www.xtratime.in , Ranjit Bajaj said, "The trio of Sukhdev, Devrani and Bali have contracts till 2019 and neither the players, nor the ." He added, "If Kassim Aidara has to play for East Bengal, they have to give us the necessary transfer fee. We have a legal contract with Kassim and Chencho, where it is written that, unless the interested club offers the transfer fee to us, they won't be able to sign for any team and we are taking this matter very seriously."

Though, Ranjit confessed, "Only the goalkeeper Rakshit Dagar wanted a clearance and we approved that without a fuss."

In reply to Ranjit Bajaj's claim, East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar said, "Well, we have signed the contracts with the players. It's their responsibility to get the clearance from their club. If they can get that, they will play, else they won't. It's as simple as that."

It is to see how the thing move from here on.
