XtraTime Web Desk:
Former Pakistan all-rounder Sahid Afridi raked up controversy by voicing his support for the killing of innocents by Indian army in Kashmir. The leg-spinner responded to the clashes that happened in between protesters and the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, former Pakistan captain tweeted and said, “appalling and worrisome” situation.

The all-rounder sought UN intervention in the matter and demanded the stopping of bloodshed in the valley of Kashmir.

Reacting to Afridi’s comment on twitter, Delhi Daredevils captain Gautam Gambhir took to Twitter in mocking Afridi, saying the leggie was trying to mean UN as under nineteen kids. This is the tweet from Gambhir:

This is not the first time that Afridi has raised the 'issue of Kashmir'. During the World Twenty20 match against Australia in Mohali in March 2016, he had thanked 'fans from Kashmir' for supporting Pakistan.

Afridi retired from international cricket in 2017 and played 27 Tests, 398 ODIs and 98 T20Is for Pakistan. He led his country in the ICC World Cup 2011. Afridi holds the record of having hit the most number of sixes in the history of ODI cricket.
