XtraTime Web Desk: Australia is all set to expel two Russian diplomats after there was a nerve attack on an ex Russian spy in England that the British authority has blamed Moscow, stated Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said on Tuesday. This may also lead Australia to boycott football's biggest carnival 2018 World Cup which is set to begin from month of June.

The American government on Monday said they would expel 60 Russian diplomats, with other governments of all across Europe to punish Kremlin. A number of 100 Russian diplomats were being removed, which is considered to be the biggest Western expulsion of Russian diplomats since the height of the Cold War.

“Together with UK and other allies and partners, Australia is taking action in response to the recent nerve agent attack in Salisbury, UK, “Turnbull announced in a statement.

Turnbull further said, “Two Russian diplomats identified as undeclared intelligence officials will be expelled by the Australian Government for actions inconsistent with their status. “

What could take over as poisoning the event, Australia can even boycott the 2018 World Cup in Russia, said foreign minister Julie Bishop.

“ There are a whole range of further options of action that could be taken, boycotting the WC 2018 in Russia is one of them. ”, said Bishop.

Aussie administration has already imposed a series ban on Russia following the crash of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 and the Russian annexing of parts of Ukraine in 2014.

While traveling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, MH17 was shot down in 2014 which killed all 298 passengers and crew, where most of the dead were from Netherlands and 28 persons were from Australia.
