CWG 2018: Indian Athletes reached Gold Coast for glory

XtraTime Web Desk: For the forthcoming Commonwealth Games, which will be held in Gold Coast, Australia, from next week, 200 members of the Indian contingent and officials reached there on Wednesday.

“The contingent members comprising athletics, boxing, basketball, hockey, lawn bowling and shooting have reported at the Village as they arrived in batches. “ , an IOA release said.

The teams and individuals were seen acclimatising to the conditions and visited their respective training grounds.

IOA President Narinder Batra and Secretary General Rajeev Mehta congratulated the officials for smoothly setting up everything at office and to take care of the Indian athletes at the village.
