Chennai City FC star joins ISL club before Super Cup

XtraTime Web Desk: I-League side Chennai City FC captain M Soosairaj has joined Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Jamshedpur FC ahead of Super Cup. He performed really well for CCFC in the recently concluded Hero I-League 2017-18 where his skills and swift movement stunned everybody.

Earlier it was learnt that, a lot of ISL clubs had showed their interest of signing Soosairaj, and today Chennai City FC confirmed the news on their official twitter handle that they have reached an agreement with Jamshedpur FC. The 23-year old footballer will don Jamshedpur outfit from the Super Cup."Chennai City FC have reached an Agreement with @JamshedpurFC on the Transfer of @soosairajmichal for the @IndSuperLeague We wish him the very Best for the future," CCFC wrote on their twitter handle.

As per sources ISL clubs like Chennaiyin FC, Mumbai City FC and Northeast United FC were in contention of signing him, but Jamshedpur came up with a deal which CCFC couldn’t overturn.

His transfer fee will be 25 lakhs approx and beside that the midfielder will also have a buyout clause of almost Rs 95 lakhs.
