Internet Desk: Off late the Indian cricket team under the leadership of captain Virat Kohli has seen an up-rise in terms of fielding is concerned. The players have exhibited supreme form of fitness throughout the ongoing season and can give a run for the money to other powerhouse teams like South Africa and Australia.

Despite the supreme form in fitness, former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar has claimed the team has slow players in the squad. Gavaskar who was commentating on the test match has claimed that he is unhappy with the fielding performance of Ravichandran Ashwin and Cheteshwar Pujara.

“He seems like an automotive that runs with a handbrake on,” were the on-air words of the legendary opener while describing the fielding skill of Pujara.

About Ashwin, he had this to say- “There may be intent however no longer a lot growth.”

Despite this fact, both the mentioned players had fared pretty well in the test match held at New Delhi. Pujara had scored 23 and 49 while Ashwin claimed 4 wickets in the match which Sri Lanka managed to draw on the last day of the game. India won the series after they defeated the Lankan side at Nagpur.This series win registered India’s ninth consecutive Test series vicotry and with his landmark they have equalled the record set by Australian under the captaincy of Ricky Ponting.
