Sheringham accepts the challenge of coaching ATK and are happy with the recruitment of the Indian players who are currently enjoying and awaiting for the upcoming season.

ATK who recently defeated I-league based club Neroca FC 2-1 at a closed door game held at the Salt Lake Stadium as a practice before the main tournament is unwilling to play more practice games as the current defending champion's target is the upcoming ISL.
