Kolkata: England stunned the Kolkata crowd with a phenomenal display, as the Young Lions knock favourites Brazil by a thumping 3-1 scoreline to put their feet into the final as the first team of the FIFA U17 World Cup 2017. Rhian Brewster again clinched the show in two hat-tricks in two consecutive games to lead his team towards the glory.

It was England who drew the first blood Brewster gave England the lead in the 10th minute. It was the fifth goal of the tournament for him. Hudson-Odoi teased a cross into the box from the left and picks out Brewster's run off the shoulder of the defender. His initial shot was saved by Brazao but unfortunately for the goalkeeper, the rebound fell into the path of the in-form striker who made no mistake.

Brazil though responded brilliantly well and started building attacks after attacks to even things up. The South Americans scored the equalizer in the 21st minute. Wesley put the finishing touch on a wonderful one-touch move. Wesley drifted into the middle and played consecutive give-and-go's with Paulinho on his way into the box. Just like the first goal, Anderson, the English goalkeeper this time saved the initial shot but Wesley made sure that the ball lands in the back of the net with his second attempt.

England came back strongly and eventually got the reward in the 39th minute. Foden on the right released Sessengon on the overlap and the full-back crossed into the centre for Brewster to pick the net between the legs of the defenders. Another close-range finish and the Liverpool youngster made it 2-1 for England.

England dominated te entire game and literally outplayed the mighty Selecao in the stadium where the majority of the 63, 881 people were cheering for the South American giants.

Rhian Brewster completed his hat-trick in the 77th minute to put the final nail on the coffin. Phil Foden dribbled brilliantly and got away from the Brazilian midfield before releasing Smith Rowe on the overlap. The right-back delivered an inch-perfect cross into the far post where Brewster was lurking to slot the ball into the net. Three close-range finished make up a wonderful hat-trick for the youngster and put himself on the top of the goalscorers' list with seven goals.
