Kolkata: Mohammedan Sporting announces the name of their new President after the heart-breaking death of their former Club President Sultan Ahmed. It will be Amiruddin Boby, who will be the new President of the club in place of him. Sultan Ahmed was such a huge figure in the history of the club that his void can never be fulfilled so easily.
The Honourable Football Secretary of the club, Iqbal Ahmed, the younger brother of Late Sultan Ahmed, has also resigned from his post. It is his nephew and Late Sultan Ahmed's son Sariq Ahmed, who will now be the Football Secretary of the club. The intent is definitely to bring the younger generation in the administration. Though the seniors like Mr Iqbal Ahmed will monitor and help the young group to get used to with the work for a bright future.
Despite the fact that Mr Iqbal Ahmed has resigned, the experienced official will be always available to help the working committee. With the batons on the hands of the youth, the Black Panthers are expecting a different and exuberant future ahead.
