He was absent as he had to visit the doctor on account of his wife’s illness. The East Bengal defender however had previously informed and took permission from the club’s Manager Manaranjan Bhattacharya and Asst. coach Ranjan Chowdhury. Mumbai FC hosts their last home match against the Kolkata giants at the Cooperage stadium.
The team from the city of joy also practiced for 45mins at Mumbai FC’s stadium.
Mumbai FC arranged for a practice session at the request of East Bengal officials.
It was very hot in the afternoon, but the team could practice in relief when cool breeze blew in the afternoon. Though relegation is certain for Mumbai FC, yet East Bengal’s manager is in no mood to take this match lightly. “A win is much needed before the Fed Cup” said Ranjan Chowdhury.
