Just the moment when everybody thought that the international break would help the injured players to get fit by the time the I-League resumes, East Bengal's Wedson Anselme has come up with another injury at the groin again. Today, the MRI report suggested that he has now an obstruction in his injured position and thus he will once again be sent in rehabilitation. Though East Bengal Assistant Secretary Shanti Ranjan Dasgupta said, "It doesn't seem to be a serious injury and he will once again start his rehab. We have enough time to play our next game and he should be fine by that time.
East Bengal's Wedson Anselme had a Grade II groin injury during the BFC game at Sree Kanteerava Stadium at Bengaluru a month back. Since then, he hardly managed to train with the ball. In the last couple of days he started his rehabilitation under the physical trainer Varun Ghosh. Yesterday, the moment he resumed his training with the ball, he once again got injured at the similar position. Meanwhile East Bengal Coach Trevor Morgan said, "I want Mohun Bagan to drop points against Bengaluru FC."
