Carlton Chapman begins his chase to produce future Indian footballers

Kolkata: New Delhi's Sudeva Residential Football School is all set to create a new trend in Indian football's youth development. Head Coach and former Indian captain Carlton Chapman to scout the best young talents of the country to nourish them with the best facilities back in New Delhi as well as in the developed football playing nations like Italy, France and Belgium.

The former Indian captain will have his scouting process in Kolkata tomorrow along with his former teammates Jayanta Sen and Amit Singha Roy at DLF1, Rajarhat, New Town. Along with Carlton, the other foreign coaches of the academy are also doing a great job to nurture the available talents.


Carlton though has mentioned that the scouted talents have to pay their fees for the training and only financially backward talents will have it on free. Carlton was saying, "It's not free at all except for those who are financially backward. If required, I will take the responsibility to train them for free if they have financial crunch. But the others have to pay."


The scouting process will be targeted to those who are born in and after the year 1999, 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2007. The notable performers will get to play in the U10 and U12 AIFF Youth Leagues and U13, U15 & U18 I-Leagues.


Carlton told www.xtratime.in , "In terms of my career, Kolkata is my second home. My intention is to retun something back to this city."
