Image Source: BCCI[/caption]Internet Desk: The spin bowling duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja took two crucial wickets in the afternoon session as India roared back into the contest against Australia. Aussie skipper Steve Smith(27) and Peter Handcomb (22) departed in quick succession as Australia reached 153/4 at tea on the opening day of the first cricket Test, at Pune on Thursday.
The second session belonged to India, as they took 3 wickets for 69 runs in 30 overs. Steven Smith and Peter Handscomb looked settled and were drawing the sting out with aplomb, but the introduction of Jadeja for a new spell swung the momentum in favour of India. Jadeja bowled with fire and aggression, trapped Handscomb. Smith soon followed in the next over with a tame chip to Kohli at short mid-wicket from Ravichandran Ashwin’s bowling. Mitchell Marsh did survive a scare; He was given OUT caught behind but he challenged the decision and got it overturned.
