Internet Desk: Defending champions India have started their campaign in T-20 World Cup for blind in a convincing way, as they thrashed neighbour Bangladesh with a huge margin of 129 runs in the opener at IIT Ground New Delhi on Monday.

After winning the toss India chose to bat first and posted a huge target of 280 runs in front of Bangladesh. Openers Ketan Patel (98) and Prakash J(96) hammered Bangladeshi bowling through all parts of the ground.

In the second innings, Bangladeshi batsmen had no answer against India’s great bowling attack, as they reached to just 150 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Pacer Deepak Malik took two wickets, Ketan Patel, Ajay Kumar Reddy, Golu Kumar, and Sunil all chipped in with a wicket each.

Ketan was declared "Man of the Match" for his brilliant contribution with both bat and ball.
