Image Source: criclife[/caption]Internet Desk: Dashing Delhi batsman Rishabh Pant added another feather to his cap by slamming the fastest century in the history of Ranji Trophy. He reached the three figure mark in only 48 balls. His innings included 10 sixes and 6 fours. He achieved the milestone in the match against Jharkhand on Tuesday at the St Xavier’s KCA ground in Trivandrum.
The previous record was held by Naman Ojha who scored a century off 69 balls against Karnataka at Indore in January 2015.
The 19 year old batsman is having a great season in Ranji as he has already scored 4 centuries in his six innings so far. He has smashed a century (117) in the first innings as well.
The wicket-keeper batsman came into limelight with a triple century in only his fourth first class match against Maharshtra.
Pant, who idolized former Australian great Adam Gilchrist also wished he could bat like Sehwag.
