Internet Desk : The parents of the Indian Under-16 colts were present and they had cheered their sons with their loudest voice on Sunday evening, as their children are representing India in the ongoing AFC U-16  Championship in India .

The All India Football Federation understood the pain of the parents as they were staying away from their children for a long time as the Indian  U-16 players were playing practice matches in Germany, middle east countries and Brazil for their U-17 World cup 2017 campaign, which will  be held in India.

Mohammed Rakip ‘s father Mohammed Khoro talks much less. But he also thanked All India Football Federation for their beautiful arrangements.

“I could not hold my tears on seeing my son after 6-7 months. They have been constantly travelling and we can only get their news through AIFF website and social media handles and newspapers. But when I saw him after a long time, it was a different feeling.” he told the AIFF

He added,” The soft-hearted man that Coach Nicolai Adam is, the boys were given a day off to meet and spend time with their parents. It’s important that they get Football out of their head for the day. Their parents are here. Let them go and meet them.”

Boris Singh’s father Thangiam Mohesh said we also couldn’t take care of our kids as Nicolai Adam and the team is doing for them.

He added,” I was astonished seeing the facilities over here. Honestly, we couldn't afford to offer such a picture-perfect setup to our son, not in our distant dreams. Although we don't meet, we still get the feeling that he is nourished better under the AIFF's umbrella – honing his skills under Coach Nicolai.”

Khumanthem Manglemba Meetei, father of the jovial midfielder Ninthoi, told the fact while speaking to the AIFF "Off course we miss our son. But the fact that he's representing our Country gives us a sublime feeling. We know it could not have been possible without AIFF’s help. Hope that our boys pay back.”

The story takes a revelating twist whe the AIFF spoke with C.P. Shangkailal Aimol, father of Aimol Chongampipa who returned to India with a broken shinbone – an injury which he suffered during the match against MSV Duisburg on August 21, 2016. He said,” Nicolai Sir always takes the effort to guard the boys. They treat them like their parents only, if not less. AIFF takes care of all minute aspects to make the boys feel at home. I have all the way here to thank them. It doesn’t matter whether my son plays or not.”

“Thank you AIFF”, the parents stated with a huge cheer .
