Striker Manvir Singh sturck the winner in the 15th minute after receving a pass from Nitesh Chhikara on the right side. This was Mohammedan Sporting's first ever competitive match victory over Army XI. Skipper Rana Gharami, who had a brilliant game, has been named Man of the Match.
Mohammedan Sporting will face Tollygunge Argagami next on Tuesday (9th August) at the same venue.
