Both Leander and Sania reached their respective doubles finals

Internet Desk: As Olympic closed Indian Tennis players started shining. Whether they have failed in the Rio 2016, they are shining in different ranking tours prior to US Open 2016. Indian tennis legend Leander Paes pairing with Andre Begemann of Germany reached the final of ATP Winston-Salem Open. On the other hand, Sania and Niculescu pair also reached the final of Connecticut Open women’s doubles.

Tomorrow in the semi-final they defeated the pair of Robert Lindstedt of Sweden and Aisam-ul Haq Qureshi of Pakistan. However, it was not an easy win for the pair of Leander and Begemann.

It was a match of super tiebreak. Leander was disappointed with a first set lose by 1-6. But with strong mentality along with his partner, Leander advanced in the second set. Though it was a tough set, the Indo-German pair won it by 7-6.

Then the dramatic third set appeared. The super tiebreak set was won by Leander and Begemann by 10-4. Finally the score remained as 1-6 7-6(5) 10-4.

In the final Leander will face Garcia Lopez and H Kontinen pair.

It was a tough match for Sania too as she along with her partner Monica Niculescu won the semi-final through super tiebreak against Andreja Klepac and Katarina Srebotnik.

Alike Leander they lost the first set by 2-6. Then they came back strongly to win the second set by 6-3. Thus the match rooled to super tiebreak.

The super tiebreak set also became very tough for the Indo-Romanian pair as they won it by the least margin. It was a 10-8 set for Sania-Niculescu.

They will face Kateryna Bondarenko and Chia-Jung Chuang pair in the final.
