After a hamstring injury on 1st July he withdrew from the Olympic qualifier of Jamaica. With less than one month left for the Rio Olympics it was a high tension for the fans of the fastest man of the world, whether he
will be able to participate at the London.
Yesterday Bolt tweeted that he will be back at London. In a video posted on tweeter he said, “Hi, this is the same Bolt just want to come out and watch me at London in the Anniversary Games on 22nd of July. I’ll be right there. I am excited to come back there at London. It’s a request to fans- come, watch, support.”
The tweet naturally indicates of his fitness. Apart from that, according to the list of athletes announced by the Jamaica Olympics Association for the Rio Olympics, Bolt is to join the Olympics squad. The JOA announced four names for the 100 m and 200 m events on Monday. They send the name of Usain Bolt after conducting meeting. According
to rules, the management team of Rio Olympics will decide the final three names for the two events.
This 1st July the three time world record holder was injured by left hamstring pull. He withdrew his name before the final of 100 m event. However, he secured the first place till the semi-final of the event. After that he was conducting treatment under Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt in France.
To qualify for the Rio Olympics Bolt has to perform in the London Anniversary Games on 22-23rd July. That is the final qualifier for the Rio Olympics. A tweet from the sprinter yesterday confirmed his participation at London.
