Odafa Okolie to return to Kolkata again? File Pic[/caption]Kolkata: Will Odafa Okolie return back to Kolkata for yet another stint? Odafa Okolie is in talks with Mohammedan Sporting Club officials. Mohammedan Sporting officials are in talks with Odafa's agent and had already send him his contract.
But, there are lot of confusions about his contract among the Mohammedan officials. Some of the officials are saying that Odafa have already signed for Mohammedan while some others are saying that Odafa is yet to sign as he has given the officials some conditions to fulfill. Odafa has asked for the CFL schedule as when the CFL gets over. After having a look at it and as well as the monetary issues are settled, he will decide on his signing.
Odafa Okolie, once a highest paid player in India had earlier signed as a defender for Mohammedan Sporting in his early days but left without playing a single match before leaving for Bangladesh club Muktijoddha SKC.
On 1 June 2011, he signed a one-year deal with Mohun Bagan A.C. for approximately $600,000. On October 23, 2011, Odafa scored a hat-trick in his debut for Bagan in a 3–1 victory over Pailan Arrows. He played for Mohun Bagan till the end of 2013-14 where he used to earn around INR 3 crore.
