The Jamaican all-rounder is most likely to sit out against the Lions due to hamstring injury which he suffered against RCB while bowling.
Andre Russell was taken to the hospital for treatment and he did not travel with the team to Kanpur. Russell has been in tremendous form both with bat and ball scoring 188 runs and claiming 15 wickets. KKR CEO, Venky Mysore tweeted, " Russell is still being assessed and will get fit soon."
According to sources from hospital, it is learnt that , Russell had suffered a muscle tear. KKR team management is looking on to the matter and the team doctors and physio are trying to get him fit as soon as possible.
