Ashoke Dinda celebrates like Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.[/caption]Internet Desk: Rising Pune Supergiants bowler Ashoke Dinda celebrated like Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday after he picked his three wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Dinda later revealed at the post match presentation ceremony that he’s a big fan of the Real Madrid star. He also made it clear that he would like to continue with the celebration in the upcoming matches.
" I am a very big Ronaldo fan, so that’s why I did it”, he said.
Dinda bowled a match winning spell yesterday to help the Supergiants end a run of four defeats in the cash rich league. "It's very nice to win the match. It was important. We played well, batting and bowling and fielding also," he said at the post-match press conference late last night after RPS won by 34 runs in the rain-hit match.
The Bengal speedster was eager to do well on a stage like the IPL. He last played in a competitive match against Madhya Pradesh in Ranji Trophy on February 07.
“It feels good to prove myself on a stage like the IPL. I have always tried to give my best wherever I am playing.”
Dinda gave the Supergiants a huge breakthrough by getting rid of dangerous David Warner early. On being asked about the wicket he said,"A plan was there for Warner... Just hit the perfect area and bowl incoming deliveries to David Warner. For me, it was out swing, for him it was in swing. That was the plan, just wicket to wicket bowling,"
Rising Pune Supergiants restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to a poor 118/8 after winning the toss. Later they scored 94/3 in 11 overs before rain interrupted the match and won the match on the basis of D/L method.
