Germany , December 23 : Michael  Schumacher’s manager has refuted ‘irresponsible’ tabloid reports that the injured F1 legend has regained the ability to walk.

The seven-time world champion sustained severe head injuries in a fall while skiing in December 2013 and has been under around-the-clock care ever since.

German magazine Bunte carried a front-page story this week claiming 46-year-old had now recovered sufficiently to be able to walk with the aid of therapists, and that he was able to lift an arm.

Sabine Kehm, Schumacher’s manager, has flatly denied the story, issuing a now-rare statement to the press.

“Unfortunately, we are forced by a recent press report to clarify that the assertion that Michael could move again is not true,” Kehm said in a statement issued to media.

“Such speculation is irresponsible, because given the seriousness of his injuries, his privacy is very important for Michael.
