IPL 2018 : Rajasthan Royals gets back to the winning ways, beat Delhi with an ease

XtraTime News Desk: Rajasthan Royals won their first IPL match  for  this season at home defeating Delhi Daredevils by 10 runs. Rain disrupted the game as Delhi got the target of 70 runs in 6 overs but, they manged to score just 60 runs by loosing four wickets.

Batting first Rajasthan were 153 for 5 in 17.5 overs when rain came in. Skipper Rahane scored 45 runs in 40 deliveries and Samson got 37 runs in just 22 balls. Delhi pacer Mohammed Shami came back strongly after the first match as he picked a wicket by giving 29 runs in 3.5 overs Nadeem got two wickets in his 4 overs by giving 34 runs.

It was a bit pressure situation for Delhi Glenn Maxwell and Colin Munro came to bat but, Munro ran out in the very first ball. Rishabh Pant tried hard but got out when he was batting for 20. Chris Morris scored 17 runs but those were not enough to win the match as they needed something special from their teammates. Ben Laughlin bowled well as he picked two wickets. Jaydev Unadkat got a wicket by giving 24 runs in 2 overs. Dhawal Kulkarni bowled well to keep the pressure on to the visiting side. He gave just 4 runs in his over.
