During a conclave in London, former Australia skipper Michael Clarke said that he believed that the final of the Champions Trophy 2017 would be played between India and Australia.
Ganguly, however, differed and said that England is a very good team and could be a possible contender for the trophy.
Warne opined that England won't even win their Group A match against Australia. This is when the two decided to place a bet.
England beat Australia by 40 runs (D/L), which meant that Ganguly had won his bet against Warne.
The legendary spinner divulged his displeasure about losing the bet but he also said that he will keep his word and wear the jersey for an entire day.
The ICC on Thursday tweeted a photo of Warne in the England jersey, with the caption: “Here's a sight you thought you'd never see!”
“It will be interesting to see what happens next.”
