Kolkata: After suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Aizawl FC, Mohun Bagan players are convinced that title hopes are no more there for them, but Head Coach Sanjoy Sen still believes that a miracle can take place.

Sen who looked fresh at today’s practice is desperate for a win in the next match. Mohun Bagan will play their last match against Chennai FC on 30th April at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium.

“Winning is definitely possible while the fate of the championship is not in our hands” says Sen. He further says that he had given the players a rest for two days to recover from their grief.

The Green and Maroon coach says that he will decide his fate after 31st May when his contract with the club runs out. AS for the time being he is focused on the last I-League match.

“Subhasish Bose is recovering fast but Pronoy Halder will be unavailable as he has suffered a Grade-2 Ligament tear” says Sen.

Pronoy will be with the team during his rehabilitation period which will also serve as a morale boost for him. He further adds there is every possibility for young Bose to be back in the Federation Cup.
