Pronay Halder to miss derby for Mohun Bagan

Image Source: XtraTime[/caption]Kolkata: East Bengal coach Trevor James Morgan has included Wedson Anselme for the return leg I-League derby to be played at Siliguri’s Kanchenjunga Stadium on April 09. The Haiti international has just recovered in time for the derby. The East Bengal striker was suffering from a groin injury. Morgan will be relieved to see Wedson scoring a goal in the practice match yesterday.
While Wedson has recovered from his injury, another Red and Gold footballer Nikhil Pujari is most likely to miss the return derby. The U’22 footballer is suffering from viral fever and might be replaced by Mehtab Singh.
Mohun Bagan on the other hand has no major injury concerns except for Pronay Halder. The midfielder has an injury to his quadriceps muscles, which forced him to be out of the tie against Bengaluru FC as well in the last match. Shubhasish Bose is also not been selected in the 18 member squad.
Goalkeeper Shilton Paul is also not named in the 18 member squad of the Mariners. . Shibinraj Kunniyil has been named as the second goalkeeper after Debjit.
Both teams will leave for Siliguri after having the practice session at their own grounds.
