Former Ivory Coast and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Didier Zokora continue to thrill his teammates off the ground. The NorthEast United marquee recently showed his control over the ball with his heading that left his teammates spellbound.
A video post by NorthEast United on facebook shows Zokora heading a football to all his teammates who heads it back to him before he eventually heads the ball in an empty drum placed beside in the dressing room.
The former Sevilla footballer who also won a Copa del Rey with the Spanish club left Nirmal Chettri, Katsumi Yuasa and others rejoice after he successfully finished the drill.
Zokora’s performances in the 2006 World Cup earned him a contract with Tottenham Hotspur. He played a crucial part in beating Chelsea in the 2007-08 League Cup final and reached the 2008-09 final as well, which they lost to Manchester United on penalties. He then moved to Sevilla and helped them get back to the Champions League and also won a Copa del Rey with them.
With a 118 appearances for Ivory Coast, Zokora is the most capped player for his country and has represented his nation in the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup. He is still to score a goal for NorthEast United FC in the ensuing Hero Indian Super League.
