The Indian One Day captain was in Chennai today for the promotion of his bio-pic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ which hits the theatres all across the country on September 30. The film is directed by Neeraj Pandey and features Sushant Singh Rajput in title role. Dhoni was planning to meet Rajnikant during his promotional visit to Chennai. It did happen after the event as the Indian ODI captain called on the Tamil Superstar at his residence.
One may recall Dhoni's fan moment with 'Kabali' recently, when he paid tribute to Rajinikant. He shared a pic on his Instagram account, mimicking Rajini's 'Kabali' pose along with the caption, "Tried copying the pose of The One and Only Thalaivar."
In the meantime, speaking about the movie, Dhoni recently said, "I saw the unedited version and I relived my past as memories of my childhood, where I lived and how I played flooded my mind."
"It was nice to be in the past for a moment and you get a view of what others think about me. I have never talked to my parents about cricket and it was nice to get a glimpse of what they really thought about me," he said.
