India A clinched easy away victory over Australia A with all-round performance

Internet Desk: The India A side showed lots of courage by winning Quadrangular series against Australia A on their home soil. India A beat Australia A by 57runs in the final match today. It was an all-round performance from the Indian side to win the match, which has been praised by the Men-in-Blue chief coach Anil Kumble too.

The whole team of the descendants of Indian seniors should be praised. However, two names should come at the front. One is Mandeep Singh among the batsmen and the other is the leader of Indian spinning squad Yuzvendra Chahal. India A made a total of 266 runs for 4wickets.

At first the batsmen made the path for winning the match. Opener K K Nair got out scoring only 1. But in the second wicket partnership SS Nair helped Mandeep to make a big score. Mandeep finally scored 95(108). Captain of India A Manish Pandey also played a leadership match by scoring 61(71).

Indian spinners did the final job to win the match. Spinners of India took eight wickets among the ten. Yuzvendra Chahal took four wickets in 8.5overs giving only 34 runs. Other two spinners K K Nair and A R Patel took two wickets respectively. The Australian innings ended at 209/10.

After this win wishes poured on the India A boys from BCCI. India team coach Anil Kumble wrote on twitter, “Congratulations Team India A for the win in Australia. Well done Team!”



BCCI president ANurag Thakur also congratulated them by saying, “Great effort 'India-A' delighted to see the performance and character of these young stars of Indian cricket.”
