The Calcutta Football League champions will be able to field all three of their foreigners at a time for the first time in this season. Interim Head Coach Ranjan Chowdury was really happy after witnessing the ground and the facilities. He was saying,"The atmosphere has been excellent. The organizers have done a remarkable job to set the tone of this tournament."
The East Bengal coach is trying to implement his own style as he was saying,"I have the experience of coaching for the last 30 years. I know how to manage a side better than many people." He added,"I told my senior players that these young academy boys are your own prodigies, it's your responsibility to guide them through. Everyone is pumped up!".
Ranjan was impressed with the way the team has gelled in short time. There are international teams in this tournament and Ranjan seemed to be ready for it, he said,"I was happy with the way Dong came up and asked to take the responsibilities. I'm happy. For me, all the senior players are equivalent to coaches in this tournament. I just had three months to prepare my academy boys but they are ready to grab this opportunity."
Ranjan is optimistic about Adileja as well. He was saying,"If he plays well in this tournament, I will recommend his name to the club for future in my report. He needs to take this tournament as a stage to showcase his qualities."
East Bengal will be without eight key players from their CFL squad as the players have joined their respective ISL sides.
