Shiva Thapa loses to Robeisy Ramirez of Cubain 56 kg. File Pic[/caption]Internet Desk: India boxing contingent saw their first loss after two days as Shiva Thapa was defeated by defending Olympics champion in the 56kg Robeisy Ramirez of Cuba.
Thapa had a bad start to the bout taking a few punches on the face even before he could settle down. Ramirez then sealed the round with a some quick punches in the end.
A better performance from Thapa in second round saw him strike Ramirez but the Cuban came back strongly winning the round by unanimous decision.
