Kolkata: Trevor Morgan's decision of going back to Australia before the derby has already created a huge storm in the Kolkata maidan. The ongoing controversy regarding East Bengal's contract with Trevor James Morgan got a new turn when we tried to track the actual problem.

Reports in various newspapers created a possibility of not retaining him for the I-League later in the season. But we spoke to Trevor and disclosed the exact truth that he has a second phase of contract for the I-League.

Later, we got a peculiar information when we spoke to East Bengal's Football Secretary Santosh Bhattacharya. Santosh said, "Yes, what Trevor told xtratime.in is totally correct. We have a second phase of contract with Trevor from January to March". And there lies another controversy. If that is the case then, East Bengal might not get the service of the British coach in the business end of the I-League 2017 as the league normally finishes at the end of April or May.

No doubt, the strange contract will most likely repeat the exact consequence what the Red & Gold brigade has been facing in the ongoing Calcutta Football League as Trevor is going back to Australia. But the same debacle in the I-League, might be a huge blunder as well as an issue of grievance for the millions of East Bengal fans across the globe.
