Internet Desk: With a tear in his left hamstring Usain Bolt is out of Jamaican national Olympics trial. Now it is his challenge to get well soon before the Diamond League meet in London. He is under treatment and is expected to get well soon.

The six time Olympics champion was competing in Supreme Ventures Limited National Senior Championships of Jamaica which is the national Olympics trial of his country. The day before yesterday Usain Bolt was feeling discomfort with his left hamstring. He was feeling uneasy as the hamstring got tight.

However, he won the preliminary round of men’s 100m and reached the semi-final. On yesterday further he felt the same problem with his hamstring. The injury gave him a poor start in the semi-final. At the end he won ahead of Senoj-Jay Givans, with 10.04. He has his record of 9.54 in men’s 100m.

After the semi-final he went for a treatment that made him out of the final of the event. The chief doctor examined him and diagnosed grade-1 tear in his left hamstring. He stepped down from not only the final of the men’s 100m but also from all other events of the qualifying meet.

Bolt tweeted, “I was examined by the Chief Doctor of the National Championships and diagnosed with a grade 1 tear. I have submitted a medical exemption to be excused from the 100m final and the remainder of the National Championships.”

Now he has left with only one option to qualify for the Rio Olympics. He has to compete in the Diamond League meet in London stating from 22nd July. Now a rapid treatment is needed for the world champion athlete. Otherwise he is likely to miss the selection process. And if that happens then Rio Olympics will miss the best man of the track.

However, Bolt later tweeted that the treatment has already been started. Now it is upon the sensitivity of the left hamstring.
