Mandar Rao Desai joins Villareal CF C team for trials. File Pic[/caption]Internet Desk: To the delight of Indian football fans Villarreal CF and the Indian club Pune City FC have reached an agreement for the player to send Rao Desai in Spain during the next two weeks, which will work with Villarreal C coach Carlos Perez Salvachúa.
For the 23 years old Mandar it will be the opportunity of his life to train with Villarreal who finished 4th in the La Liga last season. Mandar will be integrated from next Monday 25th July in the structure of the second yellow subsidiary in a rich experience of exchange between the two clubs.
The emerging Indian footballer star, international Under-23 Team India, generally plays on the inside left position, but can also fit in the position of a winger. During his career I league, he has gone through clubs such as FC Goa, Dempo SC and finally the Pune City FC, that has made their services this season.
Desai made his professional debut for Dempo in the 2013-14 I-League on 22 September 2013 against Shillong Lajong at the Duler Stadium. Also Mandar captained Goa-India during the 2014 Lusophony Games where he made 4 appearances and scored once, as he led his team to the Gold Medal, beating the under-20 team of Mozambique in the final.
