Gambhir Wary of Losing Way towards the End Last Season

Kolkata: Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir is aware of losing way towards the end of the season last year. Knight Riders who led the League table mid way stage last season, gave it away towards the end of the season losing crucial matches.
Knight Riders made a great start to the season on Sunday by comprehensively beating Delhi Daredevils by 9 wkts. The Knight Riders will look to carry on the momentum in the matches ahead.

The Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir played a responsible knock of 38 runs to take the Knights home against Daredevils on Sunday.
According to Gautam Gambhir, "It was a great start and hope to continue the good work. But I don't want to say much. Last year we lost our way towards the end ."

Gambhir further added , "We can bring smiles on the faces of people by playing good brand of cricket."

Giving the KKR captain a good company was Robin Uthappa who scored a quick fire 35 runs off 33 balls.

According to the dashing batsman, "Start was important. We need to create a winning momentum at the start of the tournament."

Leg spinner Piyush Chawla credited Gambhir for setting up the dismissal of Braithwaite. According to Chawla, "The captain got a silly point for Braithwaite. This was more to keep the all rounder guessing. After being hit for a six got him out next ball."

The Knights celebrated the win against DD by cutting a cake at team hotel . Chris Lynn who celebrated his birthday also cut a cake.

Meanwhile Sunil Narine will join the team tommorow .
