Internet Desk: Imran Khan, Pakistan 1992 World Cup winning captain will be present at the Eden Gardens on Saturday to watch the Indo-Pak clash. He will also be felicitated with former Indian and Pakistan captains by CAB President Sourav Ganguly. Like others, Imran also feels that the clash of the titans will be on the strengths of India's batting vs Pakistan's bowling. When asked about politics and corruption Imran cleverly answered those questions. The xcerpts are as follows:

Q: What is your view on match fixing or spot fixing?

Imran: In Pakistan betting is legal while in India is illegal. To stop this match-fixing, the most important thing is that our cricket system needs to be radically changed. Only then will we be able to rid ourselves of corruption in cricket.

Q: What do you feel about the Indo-Pak tie at the Eden?

Imran: You can’t predict this rivalry. I feel both teams will go into this match even-steven. At the end of the day, the team which handles pressure well, will be emerged victorious. It will be a close contest.

Q: Is it India’s batting vs Pakistan’s bowling?

Imran: When Ashish Nehra is still making a comeback, at 36, it shows India’s pace bowling bank is not working up to the mark. This also true that when Ashish Nehra is bowling so well that another bowler is failing to come into his place. I am overwhelmed with India’s passion for cricket. Ashwin is a very effective bowler in the shorter formats and Dhoni uses him well. Pakistan have a good pace line up while their batting seems weak. Pakistan has wicket takers as well as economical bowlers. I feel Irfan should be use properly as his height can be effective. Amir is a talented bowler as he can swing the balls both ways.

Q: Is Pakistan team going through a transition period?

Imran: Pakistan’s main problem is domestic cricket. Producing only fast bowlers will not help. You need to have good spinners and batsman. PCB needs to restructure their domestic cricket.

Q: What will you say on Virat Kohli-the new sensation of Indian cricket?

Imran: He is a talented player. He has the capability to break all records. He sustains good leadership qualities. The most important thing about Virat is that he is a versatile player who plays all round the park.

Q: MS Dhoni- The captain or MS Dhoni-the batsman. Which one will you prefer in your team as a coach?

Imran: (Laughs), I would prefer both. Dhoni is a cool customer. Dhoni is a very clever captain and an aggressive batsman. He is an experienced captain who leads from the front.
