Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan feel Indian captain MS Dhoni portrays the role of Kabir Khan.[/caption]Internet Desk: Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni reminded Shahrukh Khan of his role in Chake de India. Shahrukh while doing commentary during the India Bangladesh match was asked by fellow commentators on who he feels can play the roles of Bollywood characters portrayed by him, Shahrukh picked out Yuvraj Singh to play Don in the movie and MS Dhoni to play the role of Kabir Khan in Chak de India.
"Yuvraj can play Don, he will really suit in that character. Dhoni can surely pull of the role of the coach of the women's hockey team in Chak de India. Although he will give a lot of freedom to his wards but will definitely have his own version of the iconic speech from the movie," he said before his stint came to an end.
Shahrukh’s role in Chak de India drew a lot of accolades. He played the role of Kabir Khan, who was a former hockey player and coach of the women’s hockey team. He inspired the team to the top of the world. Likewise he feels Dhoni has also inspired the Indian team to many successes. He felt the Indian captain would be the right man to portray the role of Kabir Khan. It was Dhoni’s inspired captaincy that helped India clinch a thriller against Bangladesh on Wednesday.
Shahrukh was all praise for India’s star batsman Virat Kohli. "I am a fan of Virat Kohli's aggression. Earlier in his career, he used to get carried away and used to get upset. But since the time he's controlled his aggression he's been phenomenal," said Shahrukh.
Shahrukh was the star guest for Star Sports at the Mumbai studios doing commentary for the India Bangladesh tie alongside Shoaib Akhtar and Zaheer Khan. It was not the first time that a Bollywood star actor donned the commentator’s hat. Last year during India’s match against Pakistan in 2015 ICC World Cup in Adelaide Amitabh Bachchan shared the commentary box.
Following the thriller, the star actor also took to twitter and gave an advice to the Indian team.
