Bopanna announced the launch of Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy via twitter "It all starts at the very beginning. Proud to announce new venture #ReadyToServe #RBTA".
RBTA will be offering 2 levels of coaching programs. Children’s from age groups four to fourteen can avail this programe. Pietie Norval will be at the helm of affairs at the academy. Pietie has immense coaching experience of training children in South Africa. The academy is located on a 3 acre property in Yelahanka,on the outskirts of Bangalore. The academy boasts of clay courts, a fitness track and and an extensive range of equipment. Special importance will be given on grassroots development. According to the academy website, they have laid special importance on training for young children. Bopanna now joins the likes of Sania Mirza,Zeeshan Ali who already had set up their academies.
